President of Sony Pictures TV Steve Mosko and Community star Joel McHale dine at The Grill on the Alley, which came in at 4 on THR's Power Lunch List. Mosko has been a regular at the Beverly Hills hotspot since late Sony Pictures chief John Calley first took him there. His dish of choice? The tomato mozzarella salad.

Every six weeks, Steve Mosko will meet at The Grill on the Alley with Seinfeld producers Howard West and George Shapiro. "We will only have lunch in the same booth and sit in the same seats and order the same things. It's been that way for 15 years," Mosko said.

For nearly twenty years Son of a Gun owner's Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo have done catering work for David Hoberman (left). Hoberman's production company Mandeville Films and Television is part of WME agent Dan Aloni's client list, which also includes Jim Carrey and Christopher Nolan. "Bad news if for meetings, not lunches," Hoberman said.

"Who in L.A. serves unbelievable lobster rolls and fried chicken with homemade coleslaw?" says producer David Hoberman of the L.A. spot Son of a Gun. The fried chicken sandwich is one of the restaurants signatures, and it took owner-chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo eight tries to achieve the right combination of brioche bun, chicken breading and slaw.

"This is my favorite chopped salad in L.A.," said Rich Ross, a former chairman of Walt Disney Studios, of the Highland restaurant Ammo. Shine America's current CEO recently signed a multiyear development deal with super-producer Nigel Lythgoe, the powerhouse behind American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance? "I never worry about telephones on the table during lunch. We all have business to take care of," Lythgoe said.

On the opposite coast, CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King and Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles dine at Central Park West flagship Jean-Georges. "I'm finding that time is really more valuable to me than anything. I don't have a wasted lunch ever," King said.

"You can have a conversation here," said Gayle King, the editor-at-large for O, The Oprah Magazine, of the Michelin-star-rated New York restaurant Jean-Georges. "And the food is always good no matter what." Other a-listers that favor the cuisine and VIP service are Emma Watson, Magic Johnson and Quincy Jones.
