Season Three's 'All Stars'

Season three of Lifetime’s Project Runway All Stars brings a slew of changes, including a new host and workroom mentor and, for the first time, former season champions. Guest judges include Abigail Breslin, Gabourey Sidibe, Elisabeth Moss, Debbie Harry, and All Stars season one and two winners Mondo Guerra (who recaps the series for The Hollywood Reporter) and Anthony Ryan Auld.

Alyssa Milano

Actress Alyssa Milano takes over hosting duties from Carolyn Murphy this season. "Before I stepped on the set, I was intimidated and nervous. I wanted to be accepted," she told THR at the NYC premiere. "But they were so warm, gracious and encouraging that all of those things went away, and they let me just do what I felt was right." She was also surprised to learn that the regal and poised Georgina Chapman is just as hilarious as Isaac Mizrahi off-camera.

The season three winner wowed judges with his cotton tartan plaid couture gown in Paris (including Diane von Furstenberg, no less) and edgy zipper-trimmed final collection, but stirred up drama with fellow designers and his client for the inaugural "average woman" challenge. He comes to All Stars after expanding and selling multiple fashion brands, and jump-starting a luxury children's label, La Miniatura.

Mychael Knight

The season three finalist made an impression with his hot pink hot pants, a homage to Pam Grier, and excelled in challenges by using asymmetrical necklines and urban-chic styling. He returns to the workroom after completing commission work for Starbucks and Nike, launching his label and fragrance, and dressing celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Khloe Kardashian and Toni Braxton.

Korto Momolu

The season five runner-up made a memorable coat out of seatbelts and the winning women's wear look included in the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies, then nearly seized her season's crown with her final African-inspired collection of sleek dresses and separates. Besides designing for her namesake label, she also helmed capsule jewelry and handbag collections for Dillard's, and created uniforms for the Crystal Bridges Museum in Arkansas.

Irina Shabayeva

The season six winner took top honors with a final collection of urban jungle armory filled with knit sweaters, fur vests and voluminous coats, but stepped on toes with her harsh and hotheaded personality throughout the season. Since then, she's made headlines for dressing the likes of Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, as well as skipping out on one of her own fashion shows this past September.

Seth Aaron Henderson

The season seven winner first seized the spotlight with consistently tailored coats, including a lighthearted punk ensemble for a mother/daughter challenge, and finished on top with his 1940s European military collection of leather, houndstooth and plaid in the finale. Since then, he has continued to design with sustainability at the forefront of his fashion.

Ari South

The season eight finalist competed on Project Runway as Andy South, the bubbly Hawaiian designer known for edgy embellishments and warrior-like silhouettes. Now Ari South (short for Ariyaphon), the transgender contestant has since opened a manufacturing facility in Honolulu for her namesake collection.

Viktor Luna

The season nine finalist has been designing nonstop since showing sheer and gradient separates for his NYFW collection. At the show's NYC premiere, he joked that his advantage was knowing his way around the Mood fabric store, and looked forward to correcting his biggest regret from his season: "Be a little bit more of who I am, and letting people know who I am. I brought more jokes, more of myself, and I let myself cry, laugh – everything."

Melissa Fleis

The season ten finalist, always dressed in black, echoed her signature perforated leathers and intriguing high-neck collars in her NYFW collection, but memorably butted heads with fellow designer Elena Slivnyak, also an All Stars contestant this season. She has since continued working on her label's launch, as well as custom leather designs for clientele.

Christopher Palu

The kindhearted mohawk rose to the top when highlighting the New York City skyline for a special Rockettes outfit challenge, and finished strong with a collection of chic leather jackets and silk tops, and dresses made of a spine-inspired print. He has since been designing for Haute Hippie, but embraced the return to the workroom. "For season ten, I knew what I wanted to do right off the bat -- this is me, I have to do it," he told THR at the NYC premiere. "For All Stars, I was like, I need to up my game. I was constantly buying fabric, and setting option B, C and D."

Elena Slivnyak

The temperamental season ten finalist went for bright-color graphic pieces for her NYFW runway, and has since launched a ready-to-wear collection and done custom costume work. She was particularly overjoyed to be included in All Stars, as she told THR at the premiere: "This time I had my game face on. I wanted to show that I wasn’t as bad of a designer as people thought I was."

Daniel Esquivel

The lively season eleven competitor was praised for his fitted suits and modern Texan silhouettes, and opted for sleek blacks, grays and gloves for his final collection. He has since been working on a manufacturing deal, as well as a showing with fellow Project Runway alumni.
