Siggraph Presents Annual Electronic Theater

Each year a jury selects highlights of the past year—from feature films to scientific research to new original shorts—for Siggraph's Computer Animation Festival, which is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival. “This year the content was stellar … technically, aesthetically, story wise.,” said festival chair Joshua Grow of The Creative-Cartel. The festival screenings ran this week at the Siggraph Convention. Here’s a peek at some selections from the highlight Electronic Theater potion of the program.
