'The Simpsons': Meet The Cast
Fox's little yellow family in Springfield began as a series of crudely animated segments on "The Tracy Ullman Show" in 1987. The characters got their own series in 1989 and have been on the air ever since. In 2011, the show was renewed for a 24th and 25th season, which will make it the longest-running scripted TV series in network history.
