An Array of Lingerie

On November 7, 2012 at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York, Victoria's Secret models run through the array of themes exhibited during the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

All Laced Up

Miranda Kerr wears a lacy hot pink bra with matching panties and what looks like a Victorian lavender old lace apron. Could the theme here be: A woman’s work is never done?

Out of the Blue

Victoria's Secret model Magdalena Frackowiak sports blue feathered wings, supported by an delicate filigree frame.

Model Behavior

Justin Bieber wore one of the strangest costumes on the Victoria’s Secret runway, a quilted zip up high collar sleeveless vest, parachute pants, white Supras, silver fingerless globes. But he had a great time singing to and flirting with the lingerie models.

Bejeweled and Befeathered

Candace Swanpoel was an ostrich feather delight wearing a bejeweled bra and strands of crystal, all topped with an oddly disparate little maroon sequined hat, proving that you can get away with anything when you are wearing spangled undies.

Spring Flowers

Constance Jablonski  is fresh as a daisy in a white lace bra and panties with bright yellow ruffled petals around her waist. All she needs is some water and a bit of sunshine.

A Day at the Beach

In a hat that covers more acreage than what she's wearing (talk about excellent sun protection), model Barbara Fialho walks the runway to the sound of  Bruno Mars' crooning. 

Weather Girl

Cameron Russell’s traffic-stopping bright yellow slicker cape, black vinyl elbow-length gloes and thigh high boots may not keep her from getting wet. But at least her black push up-bra may act as a flotation device

Orchid You Not

Alessandra Ambrosio is a blooming beauty in her floral print undies with a bright green leaf skirt and pink orchids.  

Headdressed for Success

Or not. Karlie Kloss went way — too far? — out West with a feather headdress and heavy turquoise  and silver jewelry draped over a leopard print and fringed buckskin bra and panties. The look has been pulled from the CBS forecast on Dec. 4 due to protests of tackiness and racism from several groups. Victoria's Secret tweeted an apology to its 1.4 million followers. 

She Thinks She Can-Can

Model Toni Garrn wears a red satin get-up that straddles the great fashion divide between Moulin Rouge and pretty pansy. 

Sultry Songstress

Rihanna sang “Diamonds,” the first single off of her new album Unapologetic, during the Victoria's Secret 2012 Fashion Runway Show. Her costume – a black bustier slit black skirt by designer Adam Selman, Chanel shades, black lace gloves, a garter belt and sheer black stockings -- fit right in.

Snake Eyes

Izabel Boulart glitters in a bronze bra and matching thong with layers of jeweled chains, holding a life-size gold snake necklace.  

Swan Song

White-feathered Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Ellingson blows a kiss from the runway to a mesmerized audience.

Getting Cagey

Tennessee Williams once said, "Caged birds accept each other, but flight is what they long for." Perhaps model Doutzen Kroes, who wears a white sheer bra and thong, complete with garters and a black plastic cage-like bustle, has something to say about it.
