MTV Video Music Awards 2012: The Nominees

Gotye, Rihanna, Katy Perry and more will face off for the coveted moon man trophies on Thursday, Sept. 6. In addition to several classic categories, this year marks the return of the "Video With a Message" award and the first ever "Best Electronic Dance Music Video" nod.
