Korean director Jee-woon Kim's English-language film debut follows Sheriff Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger), who moves from L.A. to a sleepy border town Sommerton Junction where he must prevent a notorious drug cartel leader (Eduardo Noriega) from escaping to the U.S.-Mexico border.
In October, Lionsgate held a private party in the U.K. to honor the Terminator actor while he was on tour to promote his new autobiography, Total Recall.
At the event, Schwarzenegger said he had been told to mention the film “over and over” again in any interviews that he would be doing to promote him memoir.
"I was already going to do that anyway," Schwarzenegger said. "I'm very proud of the movie, and I'll be back. I'm a big believer in marketing and promotion after all."
