'Battleship' Trailer: Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Brooklyn Decker Star (Video)
Universal's Peter Berg-directed feature, based on the Hasbro game, will be in theaters in 2012.
The first official trailer for Universal's big-budget action film Battleship, based on the Hasbro game, has hit the web and it looks expensive.
Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Liam Neeson are just some of the actors starring in the Peter Berg-directed epic trying to defend their ships. (The trailer also features brief glimpses at Rihanna and Jesse Plemmons.)
The two-minute trailer even shows missiles hitting the side of a large battleship, similar to the pieces from the board game. What is nowhere to be found is the famous line: "You sunk my battleship."
A first look at the alien ship is nothing to yawn about; everything about the upcoming feature, slated for release in 2012, is visually engaging.
