Comic-Con: Lego's New 'Hobbit' Set to Be Revealed

It's based on Peter Jackson's sequel, "The Desolation of Smaug," and features Bilbo and Thorin.

While Peter Jackson and The Hobbit might not be making it to Comic-Con this year, the movie version of the  J.R.R. Tolkien epic will still have a presence and something to show, thanks to Lego.

Saturday, the building block company will unveil a new set from the second film installment, subtitled The Desolation of Smaug and due in theaters Dec. 13.

The set is called the Lake Town Chase, will have about 334 pieces and retail for $49.99. Bilbo and Thorin are among the characters featured.
