Singer-songwriter Sia has joined the voice cast of My Little Pony: The Movie, it was announced Friday at a panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

The Australian hitmaker behind "Chandelier" will play pony pop star Songbird Serenade and also will contribute two original songs to the film’s soundtrack.

The Hasbro and Lionsgate pic's voice cast already includes Uzo Aduba, Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena and Liev Schrieber.

Rita Hsiao (Toy Story 2, Mulan) and Meghan McCarthy (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) are writing the script for the project, which will be directed by Jayson Thiessen.

The film is being produced by Brian Goldner, Stephen Davis and Josh Feldman for Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures. My Little Pony: The Movie is scheduled for release Oct. 6, 2017.

Sia is best known for her own music and collaborating on songs with such artists as David Guetta ("Titanium") and Flo Rida ("Wild Ones). She released her seventh studio album, This Is Acting, in January. Sia also performed a song on the soundtrack for the recent animated hit Finding Dory.
