Vivek Tiwary, writer of The Fifth Beatle film script about Beatles manager Brian Epstein, will unveil pages from the 130-page Dark Horse graphic novel that will form the basis of the film at Chicago's C2E2 comics expo on April 27. The book's illustrators are Andrew C. Robinson (Star Wars, Superman, Batman) and Harvey and Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Kyle Baker, whose pages will debut at C2E2. Dark Horse has published graphic novels tied to the Star Wars and Buffy The Vampire Slayer franchises and Frank Miller's Sin City and 300.

Unlike previous movies about the Beatles, Tiwary's has approval to use Beatles music (though not master recordings), including 'All You Need Is Love,' 'You've Got to Hide Your Love Away,' 'A Day in the Life,' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,' 'Yesterday,' 'Eleanor Rigby,' 'Help!' 'You Never Give Me Your Money,' 'Girl,' 'A Hard Day's Night,' 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Come Together'."

"I’m thrilled we are telling this important pop culture story across multiple pop culture mediums," Tiwary tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Epstein, who discovered the Beatles in a Liverpool basement club and shepherded them to the success they called "the toppermost of the poppermost," died in agonizing loneliness at 32, shocking the Beatles and igniting the chaos of their bitter breakup. His inspiring rise and tragic fall could make a gripping film.
