Dimension to Distribute Michael Keaton Thriller 'Penthouse North'

Dimension Films has picked up the U.S. distribution rights to Penthouse North, a thriller that will star Michael Keaton and Michelle Monaghan and being directed by Joseph Ruben. A release date has not been scheduled yet.

The psychological thriller sees Monaghan as a photojournalist blinded in Iraq who falls prey to a criminal (Keaton) who believes there are stolen diamonds hidden in her apartment. THR broke the news about the project at September’s TIFF.

The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in Ottawa, Canada on Dec. 7.

Jeff Sackman and Michael Baker are producing the film along with Ruben.  Also producing is David Loughery, who wrote the screenplay. Jon Shiffman joins as executive producer.

ICM packaged the movie and repped U.S. rights.
