Disney Misspells Mark Hamill's Name on Security Pass

Perhaps the receptionist at Disney's London offices simply hasn't seen the studio's most successful film to date.

Mark Hamill. Not Mark Hamilton.

Given that he's had a not-exactly-major but still somewhat crucial role in its biggest film to date, Mark Hamill could be forgiven for assuming Disney might know how to spell his name.

Unfortunately for the actor, it seems the receptionist at the studio's London HQ may have missed Star Wars: The Force Awakens (or at least left before the final scene), along with the franchise's first, rather famous, three outings.

In a tweet sent Sunday, Hamill showed a picture of his security pass, which declares his name to be Mark Hamilton.

Industry know-it-alls will, of course, note that Mark Hamilton is a visual effects specialist who has worked on the likes of The Nutty Professor, The Mummy Returns and, indeed, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, so perhaps there was some slight justification for the slip-up. Or perhaps not.
