'Epic' Trailer Features Josh Hutcherson, Aziz Ansari and Tiny, Mythical Creatures (Video)

Move over, Brave; there's another single adjective-titled film featuring a teenage girl in a magical, adventurous setting on the way.

Blue Skies animation on Tuesday premiered the first teaser trailer for Epic, a seeming whirling dervish of a fish-out-of-water fairytale. The flick features Amanda Seyfried as the voice of Mary Katherine, who finds herself waking up in a forest populated by branch-jumping warriors (including Josh Hutcherson, much tougher here than in The Hunger Games, though with as silly a name: Nod) and a loose-eyed slug (Aziz Ansari), among other inhabitants.

Also lending their vocal talents are Beyonce, Jason Sudeikis, Pitbull, Colin Farrell, Judah Freilander and Steven Tyler, which makes for an altogether unusual mashup for performers.

The film is due to hit theaters in May, 2013.
