Just like Beatrice Prior became Tris, the final two films in the Divergent series have also changed their monikers. The third and fourth films are now called The Divergent Series: Allegiant and The Divergent Series: Ascendant.

The last two movies in the young adult franchise were previously called The Divergent Series: Allegiant-- Part 1 and The Divergent Series: Allegiant-- Part 2. Both movies will be based on the third installment in Veronica Roth's YA book series Allegiant but the film are likely to expand on the existing narrative

The Divergent Series follows Tris (Shailene Woodley), who lives in an oppressive society where citizens are defined and categorized by personality type. The last film, Divergent Series: Insurgent, came out in March of 2015, and saw Tris and Four (Theo James) discovering that they are a part of an experiment to heal the post-apocalyptic Earth. It earned $295.2 million worldwide.

Allegiant is set to come out March 18, 2016, and Ascendant will bookend the series on March 24, 2017.

MTV debuted the new logos Thursday.
