First Look at Scarlett Johansson in 'Under The Skin'
Jonathan Glazer's hotly-anticipated sci-fi road thriller is currently in post-production and is expected to rollout later this year.
LONDON – The backers of Jonathan Glazer's hotly-anticipated sci-fi road movie Under The Skin released the first glimpse of Scarlett Johansson in the movie.
Currently in post-production, the movie shot in London and on location in Scotland earlier this year.
Marking Glazer’s third movie following Sexy Beast and Birth, the movie is penned by Glazer and Walter Campbell based on Michel Faber's novel of the same name.
Producers are James Wilson (JW Films) and Nick Wechsler (Nick Wechsler Productions) and it is exec produced by Tessa Ross for Film4, Reno Antoniades for Lee and Thompson, Claudia Blümhuber and Uwe R. Feuersenger for Silver Reel, and Campbell.
Co-producer is Alexander O'Neal.
It was originally developed by Film4 and further developed by the now shuttered U.K. Film Council.
Ross is overseeing production for Film4 and Chris Collins is lead senior executive for BFI Film Fund following initial support from Tanya Seghatchian.
Robbie Allen supervises for Creative Scotland and Gillian Berrie co-produces for Sigma Films. Ian Hutchinson negotiated the deal for Silver Reel.
Chris Donnelly repped Glazer for WME with Duncan Heath at Independent Talent. Jim Toth at CAA and Rick Yorn at LBI Entertainment repped Johansson.
The movie will be rolled out in the U.K. by StudioCanal.
FilmNation is handling international sales on the picture.
