Fox has picked up an untitled action spec from scribe Robert Lynn. John Davis is attached to produce via his Fox-based Davis Entertainment banner.

How Fox Is Reuniting the 'X-Men'

The logline is being (frustratingly) kept under wraps.

Ira Napoliello will oversee the project for Davis Entertainment. Jason Young will oversee the project for Fox.

Davis produced Chronicle, the surprise hit released earlier this year that proved to be trampolines for actor Dane DeHaan and director Josh Trank. Other recent credits include Mr. Popper's Penguins and Gulliver's Travels.

Lynn last year wrote The Envoy, which was acquired by Warner Bros. with Silver Pictures producing. That script followed a diplomatic courier who finds that the package he's carrying contains plans for a terrorist attack.

He is repped by UTA, Kaplane/Perrone Entertainment and attorney Owen Seitel.
