The trailer for Game Changer — a BBC TV movie about the behind-the-scenes drama and controversy surrounding hit video game franchise Grand Theft Auto and particularly the third installment in the series — pits Harry Potter against Agents of SHIELD's rogue agent Garrett for the souls of the youth of America. Well, almost.

Daniel Radcliffe plays Sam Houser, one of the co-founders of GTA publisher Rockstar Games, in the 90-minute feature. While Houser leads a charge to revolutionize the video game industry, Jack Thompson, an attorney played by Bill Paxton, raises opposition to what he sees as the moral lessons the game teaches its players.

The movie is directed by Owen Harris, best known for directing episodes of U.K. dramas Black Mirror and Misfits, from a script by James Wood, based in part on "court documents and interviews with many of those involved," according to the BBC.

The real-life Rockstar Games isn't a fan of the movie; earlier this year, it threatened legal action over potential trademark infringement in the project. The official BBC press release for the project, which airs Sept. 15 in the U.K., makes a point of noting that the movie "has not been authorized by the producers of Grand Theft Auto."
