'Game of Thrones' Actor Cast in Brad Pitt's 'World War Z' (Exclusive)
Elyes Gabel joins Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale in the post-apocalyptic thriller from director Marc Forster.

Elyes Gabel has been cast in Paramount’s World War Z, a post-apocalyptic thriller starring Brad Pitt.
Marc Forster is directing the movie, an adaptation of the 2006 Max Brooks novel of the same name that depicts a global zombie take-over 10 years after the fact.
Gabel, who recently appeared as Rakharo in six episodes of HBO’s Game of Thrones, will play a character named Fassbach, although little is known about the role. The film, also from Skydance Productions, features a cast that includes The Killing star Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale.
Z, which was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and J. Michael Straczynski, is currently in production and will be released next year.
Gabel’s previous credits include a stint on Showtime’s The Borgias and the BBC medical drama Casualty.
He is represented by Paradigm, U.K. agent Nicki van Gelder and manager Nicolas Bernheim.
