Harrison Ford is pumped to play Indiana Jones again in the recently announced fifth film.

"I'll be ready -- I'm excited about it," he said of reprising the beloved role, and joking that he decided to do so because of the contract, not the script.

"The opportunity to work with Steven [Spielberg] again on this character," he continued, "a chance to revisit this character, which has brought pleasure to so many, not to mention me -- it's fun. It's great fun to play this character, it's great fun to work with Steven. I'm looking forward to it."

Ford also dished on the deleted Star Wars: The Force Awakens scene that appears on the DVD and Blu-ray version of the film (out April 5) and how he fought for Han Solo's particular fate. "I argued for 30 years for this to happen, and finally I wore them down!" he said.

As for the fact that his character's spoiler didn't get out, he said, "It was pretty amazing that people respected their fellow audience members.... I think they knew that I would show up at their house and beat the shit out of them."
