Case in point: the new trailer for Hitman: Absolution, the latest game of IO’s Hitman video game franchise. The game, the fifth in the series, doesn’t come out until November, but with gaming convention E3 hitting next week, the company released its trailer hoping to ride a wave of buzz into it.
Hitman, which centers on an assassin called Agent 47, was adapted into a 2007 movie starring Timothy Olyphant. Fox is currently rebooting it.
