'Hunger Games: Catching Fire': First Official Poster Debuts
Katniss Everdeen stands stoically, bow and arrow in hand, as the clouds behind her take a familiar shape.
Jennifer Lawrence is at the forefront of the first official poster for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The one-sheet, released Tuesday via the film’s official Instagram account, features Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen standing high among the clouds with her bow and arrow in hand. Behind her, the clouds appear to take the shape of a Mockingjay -- which will become an unofficial symbol of rebellion in Panem.
The tagline for the poster is a line drawn straight from Suzanne Collins' book: “The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand.”
The new poster comes following a series of Victory Tour posters and Capital portraits released earlier this year as well as a new motion logo unveiled in November. Catching Fire, the second installment in Lionsgate’s four-part series, hits theaters Nov. 22.
