In a new preview from the film, we meet Katniss' stylist and one of the keys to her survival.

Hunger Games released a new preview of Lenny Kravitz as Cinna and it’s pretty close to what one would expect after reading the novel by Suzanne Collins.

The clip shows Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Cinna’s first meeting in which he describes what he can and will do for her. In the novel, she was struck by how normal he was compared to the more flashy citizens of the Capitol. Katniss must find a way to trust Cinna if she wants to win the games.

“He’s the stylist of Katniss,” Kravitz says on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about his character. “His job is to help her forge an impression, so she has a better chance of surviving.”

And clearly from the preview below, Kravitz delivers the role very seriously.

The Hunger Games hits theatres on March 23. It also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson.
