'Iron Man 3' Imax Poster: Tony Stark is Half Man, Half Machine
A beat-up Robert Downey Jr. appears in partially destroyed armor in the latest look at Marvel’s "Avengers" follow-up.
The new collage-style Imax poster for Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 has plenty of destruction. Most notably, Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) suit appears to have taken a serious beating, with a portion of his armor stripped away. The background also shows a shot of his coastal mansion falling into the ocean and two armor-wearing figures hovering in the sky.

Also pictured are an Iron Patriot armor-wearing Rhodey (Don Cheadle), shady scientist Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce), Stark Industries exec Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), who in the trailers for the film has promised to put the hurt on Stark.
Iron Man 3, from Downey's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang director Shane Black, hits Imax and traditional theaters May 3.
