In a 50-year career filled with adventures in space and time, Doctor Who has appeared in many different guises — 13 of them, in fact, including Peter Capaldi’s eyebrow-centric current incarnation. Later this year, the Time Lord will regenerate into his most unexpected form yet: a Lego minifigure.

BBC Worldwide and the Lego Group announced Wednesday that a Lego set based on the long-running British sci-fi show will be launched later this year, following the success of a pitch on the fan-driven Lego Ideas website. Fan Andrew Clark’s suggestion of a Doctor Who set received 10,000 votes from fellow Lego enthusiasts, leading to today’s announcement, made via Lego’s YouTube channel.

Details of what the set will contain are still being kept under wraps, with Marcus Arthur, the managing director of BBC Worldwide U.K., saying in an accompanying statement that he “can’t wait to see what Lego produce” for the set, scheduled for release internationally before the end of the year.

Announced at the same time as the Doctor Who set was a Wall-E set, based on the Pixar movie, originally submitted to Lego Ideas by Angus MacLane, an animator who actually worked on the original movie.
