'Man of Steel' Trailer Features Superman's Emotional, Ground-Shaking Journey (Video)

In a new teaser for Warner Bros.' Man of Steel that aired during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, the Superman villain (Michael Shannon) shares his proposition with the world.

"For some time, your world has sheltered one of my citizens. I request that you return this individual to my custody. To Kal-El, I say this: Surrender within 24 hours or watch this world suffer the consequences," he threatens amid static.

Man of Steel also stars Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Amy Adams and Kevin Costner and is directed by Zack Snyder.
