Meet the Man Trying to Keep 'Jurassic World' Safe

The very premise of Jurassic World hinges on something going wrong in the cloned-dinosaur theme park of the future, but a new promotional video for the movie focuses on the one man dedicated to ensure that doesn’t happen — and, no, it’s not Chris Pratt.

The Masrani Global site — which, like the Jurassic World site, is intended to be a website from the fictional world of the movie, this time focusing on the parent company of the theme park — has released a new video focusing on Vic Hoskins (Vincent D’Onofrio), leader of the private security division responsible for keeping everyone safe in the park.

Promising “safety without condition [and] vision without limitation,” the video promotes Hoskins as being the first line of defense in Jurassic World — something that almost certainly guarantees that he’ll meet a messy end in Jurassic World the movie. At the very least, audiences can expect him to butt heads with Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady during the course of the film.

Alongside D’Onofrio and Pratt, Jurassic World features Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson and Irrfan Khan. The movie, directed by Colin Trevorrow, will be released June 12.
