'Mirror Mirror': Lily Collins Reveals New Scenes in Featurette (Video)
Relativity's Snow White project has moved its release date to March 30.
Relativity has released a new featurette for its upcoming Snow White film, Mirror Mirror. The family-friendly movie, starring Lily Collins as Snow White and Julia Roberts as the Queen, has moved its release date by two weeks, from March 16 to March 30 to take advantage of spring break and Easter, which falls on April 8.
The new featurette opens with the most famous line of the fairytale, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Viewers then learn that the fairest of them all, Show White (Collins), has been banished to the woods by her evil stepmother (Roberts).
There, she meets the dwarves who give her shelter, friendship and a few life lessons. “In our story, it’s a little bit different. They train me physically and emotionally,” says Collins.

The featurette goes on to show that Collins will be playing a princess that can take care of herself. “I’ve read so many stories where the prince saved the princess. It’s time we change that ending,” says Snow White in the new featurette.
She also catches the eye of the handsome prince (Armie Hammer), but he’s working for the Queen, and, at least at one point, drunk with puppy love due to a love potion spell.
The quirky comedy take on the classic fairy tale, which also stars Nathan Lane and Sean Bean, is helmed by Tarsem Singh. The first trailer, which was released in November, focused much more the Roberts’ eccentric Queen, and her zany one-liners.
