New 'Hercules' Clip Shows Mythical Hero Ready For a Fight (Video)
Dwayne Johnson's mythical hero assures audiences that he's not afraid in the first post-trailer footage of the Brett Ratner-directed summer epic to be released.
Just two weeks after audiences around the world had their first glimpse of Dwayne Johnson yelling at the world as mythical hero Hercules in the trailer for the upcoming movie of the same name, MTV has a slightly more in-depth look at the destruction to come.
The clip shows Hercules leading an army — including Rufus Sewell and John Hurt — onto a battlefield to face seemingly vanquished foes, it turns out that the oddly green, tattooed enemies aren’t exactly as defeated as first appeared. Luckily, as Hercules asks, “Do I look afraid?” Cue more shouting at the oncoming horde/the audience.
Watch the video, released as part of MTV’s Movie Awards Takeover, below. Hercules, directed by Brett Ratner will be released July 25.
