New 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Clip Revives Catchphrase (Video)
"Remember that thing you used to say when we were kids?" asks new footage from the Michael Bay-produced revival of the beloved martial arts reptiles.
With all the excitement over Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it might have slipped our mind that another comic book property has a movie out this Friday, with Paramount’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles raring to return to the big screen after 2007’s little-remembered animated TMNT feature. Don’t worry—a new clip will remind you of all you need to know.
The clip, titled “The Elevator,” doesn’t just feature a fun comedy bit about what the average hero in a half shell gets up to during an unexpected break in the action—personally, I was hoping that they’d enjoy a snack from Pizza Hut, but apparently cross-platform promotional deals can only go so far—but it also features the return of an iconic catchphrase for the franchise that many fans have likely been waiting for (Just wait until the very end of the clip).
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner, as well as the voices of Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub.
The movie is released August 8. Watch the clip below.
