New 'White House Down' Poster: Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx Take Action
"Independence Day" helmer Roland Emmerich directs the Sony film.
The safety of Washington D.C. rests on the shoulders of a police officer and a president.
A new poster for Roland Emmerich's action thriller features officer John Cale (Channing Tatum) paired with President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) as they navigate the wreckage on Capitol Hill after an attack on the executive mansion.
On Thursday, a new lighter-toned trailer for the film debuted showcasing Tatum and Foxx as a duo taking action on their own against the evildoers -- described in the official synopsis as "a heavily armed paramilitary group" -- and delivering a few quips along the way.
The film, whose cast also includes Maggie Gyllenhaal and Richard Jenkins, will be released June 28.
