Quentin Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Reservoir Dogs' to Return to the Big Screen

Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs will return to the big screen for two single-night engagements in December.
Reservoir Dogs will bow Dec. 4, marking the film's 20-year anniversary, and 1994's Pulp Fiction -- a best picture Oscar nominee and Palme d'Or winner at Cannes -- will unspool two days later.

The films will be presented using new digital-cinema projection systems in more than 625 movie theaters nationwide. Each showing will include a bonus documentary highlighting Tarantino’s 20-year career and include a selection of handpicked movie trailers from films that inspired the filmmaker.
“There is no doubt that Quentin Tarantino’s writing and directorial style has reinvented filmmaking as we know it,” said Shelly Maxwell, executive vp of NCM Fathom Events, which is partnering with Miramax and IGN on the rerelease of the films that launched the former video store clerk’s storied career.

Miramax and Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray on Nov. 20. The set contains eight films selected by Tarantino to illustrate the first 20 years of his career, plus two extra discs packed with more than seven hours of never-before-seen interviews and special featurettes. The set also includes original artwork designed and illustrated by Mondo.
Tarantino’s newest film, Django Unchained, will hit theaters Dec. 25.
