Jared Leto Shows Off The Joker's Sophisticated Side in New Photo
Mr. J. sure does clean up nice.
Jared Leto shared a new photo of a classed-up Joker on Instagram on Monday, with the clown prince of crime donning a tux and a white rose in his lapel.
The evokes the work of Alex Ross for the cover of 1999's Batman: Harley Quinn, which featured a tux-wearing Joker also sporting a white rose on his lapel.
Leto and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) stole the show at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, with director David Ayer telling the crowd that despite "standing in the shadow of giants" of other actors who had played the Joker, it was Leto's commitment to the character that brought the cast together, calling him "the hammer that made the sword sharp."
During Comic-Con, Leto also appeared on Conan to discuss finding his Joker laugh for the film ... even showing off a few that didn't make the cut. Check out what he had to say below.
Suicide Squad will be released Aug. 5.
