Russian 'Avengers' Trailer Reveals New Footage (Video)
Additional shots from the Joss Whedon-directed film, in theaters May 4, are released.
The Russian trailer for Joss Whedon's The Avengers has hit the web with some new footage.
Much of the trailer features scenes that viewers have already seen in the official U.S. theatrical teaser, but there a few key shots that were not included. Extra footage of various team members (Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Thor and Hawkeye) strewn throughout the two-minute promo, a conversation Banner has with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and a meeting between Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) are all seen in the new trailer.
All of this, of course, plays out with the actors dubbed in Russian.
The U.S. trailer, released Oct. 11, was downloaded more than 10 million times on iTunes in the first 24 hours, shattering the site's previous record.
Written and directed by Whedon, the The Avengers also stars Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson. The film, which comes after Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor, hits theaters May 4.
