Thor has a new look.

Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi posed for a photo Thursday, the last day of shooting for Thor: Ragnarok. The pair also expressed their support for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, which is opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Hemsworth is showing off his new Thor costume, while the pair hold a sign reading, "We stand with Standing Rock." Hemsworth also took time to apologize for a costume he wore on New Year's Eve.

"Last New Year's Eve I was at a Lone Ranger themed party where some of us, myself included, wore the traditional dress of First Nations people. I was stupidly unaware of the offence this may have caused and the sensitivity around this issue," Hemsworth wrote on Instagram. "I sincerely and unreservedly apologise to all First Nations people for this thoughtless action. I now appreciate that there is a great need for a deeper understanding of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities. I hope that in highlighting my own ignorance I can help in some small way."

Standing with those who are fighting to protect their sacred land and water. #nodapl #waterislife #mniwiconi @taikawaititi I would also like to take this opportunity to raise something that has been bothering me for sometime. Last New Year's Eve I was at a "Lone Ranger" themed party where some of us, myself included, wore the traditional dress of First Nations people. I was stupidly unaware of the offence this may have caused and the sensitivity around this issue. I sincerely and unreservedly apologise to all First Nations people for this thoughtless action. I now appreciate that there is a great need for a deeper understanding of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities. I hope that in highlighting my own ignorance I can help in some small way.

In September, members of the Justice League cast shared a video in support of Standing Rock. A Change.org petition opposing the pipeline has attracted more than 337,000 signatures. The organizers of the petition, young members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, oppose drilling a mile away from the Standing Rock Reservation, which they say could poison the Missouri River.

The photo of Hemsworth's new look comes after a Facebook Live broadcast from the set revealed that a key character from the "Planet Hulk" Marvel Comics storyline will be featured in Thor: Ragnarok, which also stars Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released Nov. 3, 2017. Watch the Facebook Live broadcast below.
