The Time Mark Hamill Donned Stormtrooper Gear to Walk on Hollywood Boulevard

This isn't the Jedi you're looking for.

Wondering where Luke Skywalker has been in the trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens? As a new video for Omaze's Star Wars: Force for Change charity campaign reveals, he may have been right in front of our faces all along, as Mark Hamill wears a Stormtrooper outfit and heads out onto the streets of Los Angeles.

Okay, so it's unlikely that Luke is hiding under a Stormtrooper outfit in the actual movie, but the Omaze video — promoting the current campaign in which donations translate into entries for a chance to attend the premiere of The Force Awakens in either London or L.A. — does demonstrate how easily Hamill can go incognito as one of the First Order's faceless soldiers, even when talking to self-proclaimed Star Wars fans.

Even though Hamill gets to meet fans of Star Wars, Luke Skywalker and even some dude called Mark Hamilton while in disguise, it shouldn't be taken as a sign that Luke has switched allegiances in the new movie. After all, as he says at the start of the video, "The last time anybody saw me in a Stormtrooper outfit was when we rescued the princess on the Death Star."

Unless that's just a Jedi mind trick, of course …
