William Shatner's 'Star Trek' Documentary Trailer Features Chris Pine, Patrick Stewart (Video)
1:44 PM PDT 7/1/2011 by Philiana Ng
The trailer for William Shatner's Star Trek documentary has hit the web.
Epix HD will premiere the Shatner-directed film The Captains on Wendesday, July 21, also notably the first day of this year's Comic-Con. Coincidence? I think not.
Captains, featuring interviews with five former Trek captains Chris Pine, Kate Mulgrew, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks and Scott Bakula, will follow the original Captain Kirk as he goes through the Trek franchise.
The fact that this hasn't been done before is quite a feat in itself. A highlight of the brief 33-second teaser includes Mulgrew admitting that she hadn't seen Shatner's Trek. (And when some Trek fans referred to Shatner as "Captain Spock.")
