In the first, Logan fights Shingen Yashida (Hiroyuki Sanada), who in the comics was the father of Wolverine’s fiancee, Mariko. The Japanese swordsman holds his own against Logan, and in a meta-moment, gets Wolverine to say the name of the film.

In the second clip, Viper (Svetlana Khodchenkova) reveals her serpentine mutant powers, which don't seem very nice for her enemies.

Fox’s The Wolverine also stars Will Yun Lee, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee. Directed by James Mangold, the film hits theaters July 26.
