Greig Fraser, the Australian cinematographer best known for his work on Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty, is headed into space for his next project, he said in a new interview. He’ll be working with Gareth Edwards on one of the upcoming Star Wars stand-alone movies.

In an interview with HitFix, Fraser said, “I’m doing a f—ing Star Wars movie, which is like — I don’t know about you, but Star Wars is like my first film love, do you know what I mean?"

Asked for details about the movie, Fraser played it safe. "Gareth is doing a stand-alone film," he said. "Of course I do know some specifics, but it's obviously something I've signed my kidneys away for."

Fraser did, however, mention that the film had a working title. "It does have a working title but I don't know if it's up to me to tell you what that is," he told HitFix

Fraser’s work will next be seen in a couple of anticipated upcoming movies: Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher, released Nov. 14, and Dec. 19’s The Gambler, directed by Rupert Wyatt. Edwards’ Star Wars movie, written by Gary Whitta, will be released Dec. 16, 2016.
