CASBAA, CBIT move for pay TV freedom


April 17, 2008 The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia and the Cable Broadband Institute in Taiwan will work to liberalize the regulatory framework to meet consumer demands for digital pay TV services in Taiwan, CASBAA said Thursday. Digitization was singled out as the quintessential factor for the pay TV market in Taiwan, and the rest of Asia.
