Discovery names new Asia execs

June 12, 2008 Discovery Networks Asia Pacific has split its Asian business in two, appointing new executives for Southeast Asia and North Asia, managing director Tom Keaveney said Thursday. Following the company's integration of its Indian and East Asia businesses in May, Kevin Dickie has been promoted to Southeast Asia senior vp and GM from his previous role of senior vp marketing and communications. In addition, Australia country manager Mandy Pattinson has been promoted to senior vp and GM for Australia and New Zealand and China country manager Fang Chang becomes senior vp and GM for China, with additional responsibility for public affairs in that market.
