'Contender 4' goes to Singapore

September 29, 2008 Mark Burnett is setting Season 4 of "The Contender" in Singapore, taking production of his flagship reality television show outside the U.S. for the first time. Hosted by Tony Danza and produced with DreamWorks Television, the series is set to premiere in the U.S. in December. In a statement Monday, Burnett declined to disclose terms of the deal with the Singapore Tourism Board, but said that cooperation from the Singapore government "made it an easy decision to bring our entire U.S. production to Singapore."
