Singapore Film Commission aids first-timers


June 11, 2008 Following up on Singapore's strong showing at the recent Festival de Cannes, the Singapore Film Commission on Wednesday marked its 10th anniversary by launching its New Feature Film Fund. The fund will nurture first-time filmmakers with investments of up to S$250,000 ($182,123) for each project. The SFC will partner the filmmakers with experienced film companies, helping them find producers who can guide them through the production process.
