ESPN, Formula One extend Asia pact


September 03, 2008 ESPN Star Sports and Formula One Management have agreed to renew their relationship for another five years, giving the broadcaster exclusive rights to the FIA Formula One World Championship across multiple platforms in 24 Asian markets. With these new multimedia rights, ESS plans to soon announce extended coverage and presentation for the next Formula One season on these platforms.
