Asia pay TV regs top '09 agenda
November 05, 2008 Pay TV regulation will top the 2009 agenda of the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia, chairman Marcel Fenez said Wednesday after the group's annual general meeting. In the coming year, CASBAA will work toward further engagement in deciding the future direction of pay TV regulation in India, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Vietnam, Fenez said. Board members for 2009 include Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific's Tom Keaveny, Sony Pictures Television International's Todd Miller, Turner International Asia Pacific's Ian Carroll, HBO Asia's Jonathan Spink and satellite company AsiaSat's Peter Jackson.
