Fortissimo will sell Serbis at Cannes


April 28, 2008 HONG KONG -- “Serbis,” the first Filipino film to compete at Cannes in 24 years, will be offered for sale there by Fortissimo Films, the sales agent’s Hong Kong office said Monday. Fortissimo co-chairman Michael J. Werner picked up sales rights to director Brillante Mendoza’s film in all territories outside the Philippines and France in a deal with the film’s executive producer Didier Costet of France’s SWIFT Prods.
