Cannes' market to draw record crowd


May 05, 2008 A record 8,000 film professionals from 93 countries have signed up for this year's Marche du Film, the Festival de Cannes' parallel international film market. The Producers Network will welcome 600 producers for the program's fifth edition this year and is planning the second annual "Producers Network speed-dating" for May 15. The site lists more than 8,500 companies whose profiles are updated on a daily basis, along with about 10,000 active film titles.
