June 14, 2008 In his bio on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" Web site, he lists "eating puddin'" as one of his hobbies; his 2007 directorial feature debut is titled "I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With"; and he doesn't hide the fact that the most autobiographical part of the film, which he also wrote and starred in, is the main character's tendency to overeat to escape his problems. When asked for hints of what might be expected when he picks up the mike as master of ceremonies for the 37th annual event honoring the best in movie marketing, Garlin responded via e-mail, "There will be free candy." An alumnus of his native Chicago's Second City improv troupe, Garlin has fine-tuned his comic and improv skills throughout six seasons of "Curb," portraying Larry David's manager and dogged partner in crime.
