MGM chief to keynote Amazia
April 07, 2008 MGM chairman and CEO Harry Sloan will deliver a keynote speech as part of the two-day Amazia entertainment summit, which is set to open the inaugural Amazia multimedia market event in the fall. About 160 companies have agreed to exhibit at the event, which is organized by MIP owners Reed Midem and will unspool Nov. 18-20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Amazia is billing itself as the first business-to-business exhibition, conference and networking event based in Asia to be devoted to the creation and distribution of television, music and gaming content across all delivery platforms.
