Written by Duncan Brantley & Rick Reilly, it's executive produced by Barbara A. Hall, Jeffrey Silver, Bobby Newmyer and Sydney Pollack. Brantley, a reporter for Sports Illustrated, was researching pro-football's colorful early days and became interested John McNally, a pioneer star player.
